We aim to represent and facilitate the interests of artists who are committed to :

• continually developing their practice in a relevant and contemporary context
• the importance of practical and traditional skill together with experience in their particular field
• making work where idea and material execution are recognized as equal in importance 

CONTAINER is an artists led exhibition and workshop space set up by the Stokes Croft Contemporary Arts Project ; a Community Interest Company. It was founded by Robert Manners and Paul Witt in 2008 and is based in Bristol in and around Stokes Croft.
