We aim to represent and facilitate the interests of artists who are committed to :

• continually developing their practice in a relevant and contemporary context
• the importance of practical and traditional skill together with experience in their particular field
• making work where idea and material execution are recognized as equal in importance 

CONTAINER is an artists led exhibition and workshop space set up by the Stokes Croft Contemporary Arts Project ; a Community Interest Company. We are currently located in Stokes Croft in a premises made generously available to us by the Self Help Community Housing Association Ltd.
